Beautiful G-Shock, unfortunate failure
I’m a long time G-Shock fan (own an old school DW-5600) and have had nothing but great experinces with Casio watches. This watch was going to be my first "high end" G-Shock from the Casio’s Aviator line. Saved up several Amazon gift cards and after many days of research in picking the perfect model, I finally settled in on the GW3500B. When it arrived I was sure that I had made the right choice. This was the only one in the line thta had both analog and digital on the same face.
Unfortunately after the first 4 weeks of use, the analog hands stopped moving. With full battery charge, the hands just wouldn’t move (digital was fine). Upon contacting the seller, they referred me to Casio repair so off I went. Sent the watch to repair in NJ and after a week or so I learned that the watch needed a new module but it was out of production. So no direct replacement was available.
